The Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust is an independent company funded by Government. Their role is to help the UK move to a low carbon economy by helping business and the public sector reduce carbon emissions and capture the commercial opportunities of low carbon technologies.

Climate Change Projects Office (CCPO)

The Climate Change Projects Office is jointly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). They are a Government advisory office set up to assist UK businesses who wish to pursue opportunities arising from the Kyoto Protocol. They provide advice and support for projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and which could be eligible for tradeable emission reduction credits.
